This fun and engaging program uses practical vocabulary and interactive activities to get you comfortable with everyday German. Learn greetings, essential phrases, and build the confidence to have simple conversations and enjoy the wonders of German culture! This course is designed for those with no previous knowledge of the German language. Book required for class: Schritte international A1.1, Hueber ISBN ISBN 978-3-19-361082-9 (the cost for the book is included in the course fee - this book will cover Beginner 1 and 2) Book will be handed out in first class at the Kerrisdale Community Centre. Course length: 8 weeks, weekly 2 hour in-person group class TUESDAYS, 6-8 pm, FIRST CLASS: Sep 08, 2026 This course takes place at the Kerrisdale Community Centre in Vancouver, BC.
