I'm thrilled to welcome you to my German language classes. As a native German speaker from the beautiful city of Leipzig, I bring the authentic sounds and rhythms of the language to our lessons. With a Master's degree in English, German, and Communications from the University of Leipzig, I have a solid academic foundation to support your learning journey.
For the past 10 years, I've been passionate about teaching German. My experience spans six enriching years at Langara College and four years dedicated to online teaching. I offer a variety of learning experiences, including private, semi-private, and group classes, tailored to meet your individual needs.
My teaching philosophy is simple: make learning fun and engaging. I emphasize conversational skills and pronunciation to ensure you feel confident and comfortable speaking German in real- life situations. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your advanced skills, my goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable environment for all my students.

My Story
I’m originally from Germany, and my journey has taken me across continents and through the fascinating world of languages. I moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2007, bringing with me a deep passion for teaching and a wealth of cultural experiences. Over the past 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching German, guiding students of all levels on their own language learning adventures.
My own language journey began in school, where I first started learning English. It wasn’t until I went abroad, however, that I truly laid the foundation for fluency. My academic path continued with a focus on English in university, and since then, I’ve been immersed in working with languages.
Now, I’m raising two wonderful boys in a trilingual environment, nurturing their growth in German, English, and French, embracing the beauty of multilingualism every day. My experiences as both a learner and a teacher have shaped my approach to making language learning enjoyable, practical, and deeply rewarding for my students.
